Are you ready to take a tour of the Mark Twain House & Museum? For $99.00 this trip begins on the Bridgeport-Port Jeferson Ferry. The first stop will be a tour of the Mark Twain House and Museum, a National Historic Landmark in Hartford, Connecticut. The 25-room home is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. This is where Twain wrote The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
Next stop is a visit to Harriet Beecher Stowe’s home. She is best known for her novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin!
Lunch will be served at Apricot’s Restaurant, located on the Connecticut River. Following lunch the group will tour Hil-Stead Museum in Farmington, a 1901 Colonial Revival Country Home with Impressionist Masterpieces and beautiful garden.
